Paulette has been painting for more than thirty years and has worked in oils ,watercolors and pastels . Acrylics and pencil drawings are now used exclusively to reproduce a variety of subjects such as wildlife, landscapes, portraits, mythical beings and spiritual entities.
Over the years she taught a few classes in acrylics, entered and won competitions and has since settled into her home studio in Elliot Lake Ontario Canada where she continues to recreate what she sees around her with brush or pen.
The nice thing about purchasing an original painting by Paulette is the likelihood of finding a charming poem on the back of the piece as she enjoys writing as well.
For relaxation she likes outdoor outings , singing to herself ,photographing black bears that roam her neighborhood , picnics in the afternoons , (even when its raining )and communing with the changing seasons.
The results of her inspirations are seen in the variety of subject matter and in the poetry and various writings in this website .
